SHIPPING POLICY

At Nerpaskates, we strive to deliver your speed skating equipment quickly, safely, and reliably. This Shipping Policy explains our delivery process and should be read together with our Terms of Service.

SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS

We offer shipping via reputable carriers (primarily DPD, InPost, DHL, and UPS, depending on destination and package weight/size).

  • Shipping costs are flat
  • We reserve the right to adjust shipping rates at any time.
  • Free shipping may be offered for selected orders or destinations during promotions (clearly indicated at checkout).

DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery times are estimates only for items on stock and not guaranteed:

Rest of Europe 5–10 business days
Worldwide 7–21 business days


Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation (longer for custom or made-to-order items).

ORDER PROCESSING AND ACCEPTANCE

  • Orders are processed on business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Polish public holidays).
  • An order is not considered accepted until payment is received in full and we issue a shipment confirmation.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or delay any order for legitimate reasons (e.g., suspected fraud, stock issues, or pricing errors).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

For orders outside EU:

  • You are fully responsible for customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and brokerage fees imposed by your country.
  • These charges are not included in the product price or standard shipping cost and must be paid directly to your local authorities.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

RISK OF LOSS AND DAMAGE

To the maximum extent permitted by Polish and EU law, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you once the shipment is handed over to the carrier.

We will assist you with any claims against the carrier where possible.

INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt.

  • Report any visible damage to the packaging or products to the carrier and to us within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photos.
  • Claims for shipping damage submitted later may not be accepted.

DELAYS AND FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by:

  • Carrier issues
  • Customs authorities
  • Weather conditions
  • Strikes or labor disputes
  • Supply chain disruptions
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, war, government restrictions, etc.)

In case of significant delays, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

LOST OR MISSING PACKAGES

  • If your order does not arrive within 21 days (or the estimated time plus a reasonable margin), please contact us.
  • For packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier but not received by you, we will cooperate with the carrier’s investigation.
  • Refunds or replacements for lost packages will be issued only after the carrier confirms the loss (usually after 7–14 days of investigation).

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We reserve the right to restrict or refuse shipping to certain countries, regions, or addresses for safety, legal, or logistical reasons.

CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS

Custom-sharpened blades, mounted frames, personalized products, or items built to your specifications may have longer processing times (typically 15–30 business days before dispatch). These items are generally non-returnable except where mandatory consumer law applies.
